A history book about Killiney and the surrounding areas of Dalkey, Shankill and Ballybrack recently launched at the Dalkey Book Festival, in June 2024. The book is called Abbey Lea, A Killiney History

Abbey Lea has been the residence of the Australian Ambassador to Ireland since 1965 – more than half its life. Formerly known as Marino, the house was rebuilt and remodelled following a fire in 1909.
