Killiney Historical Society (KHS) was established on 3^rd October 2023 under the auspices of the Killiney Village Residents Association (KVRA). Following on from the success of the historical weekend held in the village earlier this year it was felt that there would be broad support for setting up a more permanent arrangement to coordinate all aspects of historical relevance to the village and the wider area.

There are plans to do guided walks, building visits, host a summer event, a programme of talks and to publish an annual historical journal. Michael McShane will act as coordinator and we plan to have regular monthly meetings commencing on Tuesday 7th November. All welcome.
