Killiney on the Move

Killiney Historical Society (KHS) will be hosting ‘Killiney on the Move’, a summer historical event to be held in the Village over the weekend of 25th-26th May 2024 (provisional date maybe subject to change) on the theme of transport in Killiney over the last 200 years. We are looking for photographs, stories, memorabilia and anything else relevant to the Killiney/Ballybrack area. All forms of transport including trains, buses, cars, bikes, horse & cart etc. will be covered. Residents and others who are happy to give us permission to use their photos in our exhibition should contact Michael McShane via the ‘Contact’ menu option above. We will arrange to have items scanned and all originals will be returned to owners. We are also looking for transport related articles to be published in our first KHS Journal. If you are interested in helping out in this event please let us know. The closing date for submission of memorabilia is 29th February.
