The area was unique at the time as it contained a sizeable number of Unionists and constitutional Nationalists. This talk will focus on a number of specific events which took place locally during 1916-1921.

Copies of our 2025 Journal are now available to purchase at The Red Shop, (Dalkey News) for €10. Copies will also be available to purchase at our next talk which will take place on Tuesday 2nd December 2025 in The Druid’s Chair pub.

The talks will take place on the first Tuesday of each of the next 3 months up to Christmas and in February, March, April and May 2026.

We have a number of heritage events taking place in Killiney over this coming August. These events are part of the National Heritage Week programme and the dlr Summer of Heritage schedule.
